One of the nicest things about being friends with your fellow wedding photographers is that you can head along to weddings to assist them (and vice versa of course)! Second shooting for another photographer means that the bride and groom get another angle on the day, while the main photographer is taking photos of family groups for example the second photographer is getting some more relaxed, natural images of the guests as they mingle.

These images from Kate and Gray’s winter wedding (there was even snow!) were taken when I was second shooting for my good friend Steph Oakes at The Ashes, Staffordshire.
