Damn good wedding photography in Lancashire and beyond
Photos to make you smile
I’m not your average wedding photographer. This is wedding photography that is full of colour, big grins, raucous laughter and a whole heap of emotion. I’m all about the real moments. Just you guys, having the time of your lives with your favourite people. If that’s what you love too then we’re going to get along!
I’m Hannah but you can call me HDM, everyone else does!
I’m a Lancashire wedding photographer for people who know that weddings are a bloody good party. Want photos that show you having the best time with your favourite people? You’re in the right place!
You’re in safe Han’s
Keeping it real
Get rid of that ‘helpful’ list of must have shots that you found in a wedding magazine. Your day is not a tick box exercise and this is not wedding photography ‘by numbers’. No fake laughter, no pretend tears. It’s simply all the good stuff featuring the best people you know.
Forget ‘the cheese’
Forget the formal line ups, the awkward poses, the forced smiles. I’ll be there to take photos as your mates give you a gigantic group hug, to clock Dad’s beaming smile, to capture you both going crazy on the dancefloor. You want real moments, not staged ones. I want to tell the story of YOUR day, not a carbon copy of someone elses.
Check I’m available for your wedding!
If you think we’d be a good fit, or you just want to see photos of my rescue pup Nancy (I don’t blame you, she’s pretty damn cute), then let’s have a chat. Most importantly, let’s find out if I’ve got your date available.
You can contact me on 07843605724
or fill out my contact form. I am available for weddings all across Lancashire and the rest of the UK so just let me know your wedding date and we’ll take it from there!
Fun filled Lancashire wedding photography
Woohoo! You did it, you’re engaged, CONGRATULATIONS! Once you’ve drunk your fill of fizz and basked in the joy of being newly engaged then get ready…now the planning really begins! Spreadsheets/budgets/guestlists and all that jazz. I know what it’s like, I got married recently too. It’s a whole lot of fun but mind boggling!
The good thing is though, you’re now on the hunt for a photographer. This means you can forget about the ‘wedmin’ (ahem, technical term) for a bit. Grab a brew, sit down together and have a nosy at other people’s weddings (and my photography – but let’s be honest, we all love to see how other people have done things)!
It’s always good to start at the beginning, so who the heck am I?! You can find out more about what makes me tick over on my handy about page, but for the short version just carry on reading..
Wedding photography in Lancashire / Cheshire/ Manchester and beyond
I’m based in the Cheshire countryside, right on the edge of the Peak District and just a hop, skip and a jump to Manchester. I grew up in the ‘sunny’ seaside town of Blackpool in Lancashire and spend my time traveling all over the UK documenting weddings and meeting some fab people. I used to document the work of a sustainable development charity over in Tanzania and that’s where my storytelling photography style really came into its own. When I’m not hanging out at fab weddings photographing people getting married then I can be found exploring the UK with my husband and our pup, Nancy. We’re also regulars in our local pub (we’re real ale and gin fans)! We got married ourselves a couple of years ago and I learnt a heck of a lot during the planning process so I’ve put together a wedding guide full of hints and tips to help you guys out.
Documentary Lancashire wedding photography
I’m a big fan of non-cheesy, fun filled wedding photography. If that’s what you’re after then we’re going to get on! I’m all about the real moments, nothing posed or forced. Just you guys, having the time of your lives with your favourite people. Lets face it, you want to party, not spend all day posing for photos! Want to know a bit more about my style of photography? Head on over and find out all about documentary wedding photography and how I photograph your wedding day.
