Ahhh I’m so excited to blog this Plough at Eaton wedding today. Since I shot this wedding we’ve moved to Congleton and the Plough is near enough our new local. It’s a bloomin’ lovely country pub. If you’re after good food, great ale and some dog walks right on the doorstep then you can’t go wrong!

Weddings at The Plough, Eaton

Meet Laura and Kevin, two ruddy gorgeous, super stylish people who met, fell in love and got married. Their day at one of the nicest Cheshire pubs was nothing short of ace. Think rustic styling, chilled out vibes and a laughter filled ceremony. What more could you want eh?! Oh, and some late October sunshine. Perfect!

The Plough is all about laid back weddings. The pub has stood on that spot for over 400 years and I bet the beams can tell some tales, I love that Kevin and Laura have now added their story to its history. I joined Laura in the morning as she was getting ready in one of the Plough’s rooms before nipping over to the pub to meet Kevin. He was busy meeting and greeting all their guests ahead of the ceremony. I never envy a groom this job, the nerves are high and the anticipation is growing but you have to chat away and say hello to everyone ahead of the ceremony. My Trev wasn’t a fan of the pre-ceremony small talk so I always sympathise at this point! Kevin seemed pretty chilled though and he had a pint which always helps!

After a brilliant ceremony – I don’t think Laura and Kevin stopped laughing at any point – we made our way outside for some confetti. After dodging a brief rain shower we nipped back out for some very relaxed portraits of Laura and Kevin (watch out for a photobombing flower girl!) before they had time for a catch up with everyone and a chance to grab a drink. Note to couples, make sure you make time to have a drink and a bit of time out together on your day. It’s such a whirlwind that taking a step back and just being together is well worth it.

I am such a big fan of this venue, if you’re planning a wedding in Cheshire or a pub wedding at the Plough, Eaton then get in touch about your photography.
