This blog is a bit of a blast from the (not too distant) past. Sam and Hannah got married at the stunning Prestwold Hall in Leicestershire and it was a blimmin’ corker of a day. Think cricket, sunshine, lots of giggles and some epic dancing. All the ingredients that come together to make an awesome wedding day basically!
I started the day with Hannah and her girls in the gorgeous bridal suite. Prestwold Hall was remodelled in the 1840s by William Burns and is seen as one of his finest neoclassical buildings. So there you have it fact fans!
I can’t argue with that, it’s a gorgeous building and, as it’s still a family home, has got a really warm and welcoming feel from the moment you step through the (rather grand) front door. As it’s exclusive use Sam and Hannah got to take it over for the weekend and their wedding felt like one big house party rather than a stiff and formal affair.
There are too many top moments for me to talk about, from Hannah strolling along to the tiny church to the hilarious speeches and everyone letting loose on the dancefloor. Scroll through for some of my favourite photos from the day.
