Kilts, ceilidhs, the most gorgeous bespoke Erica Stacey dress, a barn and loads and loads of Prossecco. What a day!

Owen House Wedding Barn wedding photography

Set on a working farm Owen House Wedding Barn is a bespoke wedding venue on the Cheshire and Manchester borders. With a wall of hay bales, loads of farm ‘knick knacks’ and a real rustic feel to it I can see why this has quickly become one of Cheshire’s top venues and just why Ciaran and Becky fell in love with it!

I had the fab Kathryn Jefferson along with me to second shoot – thanks Kat – so she started the day off with the boys while I hung out with the girls at Becky’s parents house. We then met up at the church ceremony in Altrincham. After a pretty epic (and LONG!) confetti line Ciaran and Becky jumped into their vintage campervan to head to Owen House.

Becky and Ciaran had put together so many lovely touches for their day. As the guests were tucking into canapes and enjoying the prosecco truck and music from a fab acoustic band we headed off for the some portraits in the hay bale room (I’m sure it has an official name! Haha!) There are so many corners of Owen House that we could’ve spent all day wandering around taking photos of these guys giggling away together.

The speeches were so much fun, lots of jokes and laughter as well as an impromptu poem from one of Ciaran’s friends. Ciaran also wins my ‘best groom joke of the year’ award for his great catch comment to Becky along with goalkeeper gloves…

The evening was a brilliant ceilidh – a nod to Ciaran’s Scottish roots – and there was also a glitter station so everyone could sparkle!

Thanks for having Kat and I along on your day Ciaran and Becky, we loved it!
