Super sunny days and blue skies…that seems to be a rarity in British weddings but (ignoring the very brief spot of rain) that was what we had at Martin and Grace’s Cheshire wedding.
I started the day at Grace’s family home. It was full of family (her niece spent the morning perfecting her jumping skills as you can see. VERY important talent to have as a flowergirl) and laughter. I then headed over to church to meet up with Martin and the lovely Samantha Broadley who was second shooting with me on the day (thanks Sam!). The moments just after the ceremony when everyone is greeting the newly weds, greeting each other, hugging, laughing, wiping away the odd tear are amongst my favourites on the day. Today was no exception. Look at the smiles on Martin and Grace’s faces!
Nunsmere Hall wedding
The rest of the day took place at the gorgeous Nunsmere Hall. Tucked away in the Cheshire countryside, Nunsmere Hall is surrounded by beautiful grounds with loads of overgrown hidden areas (my favourite type of portrait spots!). A highlight of the reception was a performance by the Rock Choir who Grace performs with. The women were amazing and got everyone dancing and clapping along.
A few emotional speeches later it was time to dance. Martin and Grace had booked The Rush. These guys are SO GOOD! Guaranteed to fill a dancefloor and keep it busy all night. If you are looking for a wedding band then these are definitely one of the best.
