When Sam and Lewis got in touch they just said two words to me and I knew I HAD to be at their wedding. Those two little words were…”hiphop karaoke”. Couple that with the fact that they mentioned that they took over the dancefloor on a night out and were pretty much always the last to leave the party then I was certain we’d be a great fit!

The Lowry wedding photography

Sam and Lewis had chosen the Lowry as their wedding venue as the area around Salford Quays is really close to their hearts. The Lowry Theatre itself is a brilliant place to hold a wedding. There’s so many great areas within the theatre and the Compass Room where they had their wedding breakfast has the best panoramic views of the Quays. It was this room that clinched the deal for Sam and Lewis and I’m not surprised!

Sam is super close to both her brothers and I love that her dad walked her down the aisle then her brothers were there to place her hand in Lewis’. She did a pretty spectacular twirl at that point in the ceremony too (check out the photos below!)

After the ceremony the three of us went for a wander round the theatre to get some relaxed photos of them together. I don’t think this pair ever stop laughing which makes my job so easy!

Compass Room wedding reception

We headed up to the Compass Room for the rest of the evening. The speeches were, as expected, hilarious. Sam’s nieces brought the house down with their joint reading. They then compered a game of Mr and Mrs too with hilarious results. It was then time for the dancing. Sam’s Dad took to the dancefloor with Sam and her Mum for a jive before the whole family grabbed their air guitars and rocked out to Status Quo. Sam and Lewis then utterly stole the show with their first dance before everyone joined them on the dancefloor to party the night away.

If you’re getting married at The Lowry, or in Salford or Manchester then give me a shout. I do love a local wedding!
