What a wedding this was!
Lucy and Harry have known each other since school where they were best friends, they then lost touch while Harry joined the army and Lucy headed off to university before Harry ‘randomly’ invited Lucy on a night out a few years ago. They’ve been inseparable ever since!
This was such a fun filled wedding, as Lucy and Harry have known each other for so long it meant that all their guests knew each other well as well so there was no awkward chat – just a lot of shots!
Their service took place at the Rosslyn Hill Chapel in Hampstead. This lovely little chapel is tucked away off a busy street and is a peaceful oasis in the middle of the city. The non religious ceremony was full of laughter and lovely moments between Lucy and Harry. I adore the fact that Harry was waiting at the top of the aisle for Lucy with a heart shaped balloon!
The Amadeus, Little Venice wedding photography
After the wedding we had drinks at the chapel before jumping onto a London bus and driving over to The Amadeus in North West London. Set in an area known as Little Venice because of the tranquil canals and beautiful Regency buildings The Amadeus is a former 19th century Welsh Presbyterian Chapel which has been refurbished and turned into a brilliant events space with a Crypt and Main Hall (where Lucy and Harry’s party took place).
During the wedding reception Lucy, Harry and I had a little wander around the cobbled streets nearby for some photographs before we headed back inside for speeches. There were some hugely funny moments throughout as everyone had stories to tell about the years they’d known the two of them. The party then kicked off with Lucy and Harry’s first dance before everyone joined them on the dance floor to party the night away.
