Remember Melissa and Sam’s wedding where the “Mini Beast from the East” hit during the ceremony? Well the next day I was down in Oxfordshire to photograph Ilana and Tom’s wedding at Dodford Manor. There was no snowfall, just a lovely dusting of snow over the countryside which looked incredible.

Dodford Manor wedding

I met up with Ilana and her bridesmaids just down the road from Dodford Manor. There was so much excitement (and a bit of nerves!) in the air as family members popped in to wish Ilana well. As usual once Ilana had got her dress on I left her to have a few moments with her bridesmaids while I headed over to Dodford to meet up with Tom. As guests began to arrive Tom was surrounded by family and friends as he waited for everything to begin. The ceremony was so lovely and personal. Their registrar, Jane, was an old family friend of Tom’s so knew the couple well. It meant so much to them both that she was able to lead their ceremony. Ceremony over Ilana and Tom braved the snow and the cold for a few portraits before spending the afternoon with their guests. The whole atmosphere was lovely, so happy and full of fun. Once the speeches were over – and I love Ilana’s reactions to Tom’s Best Man’s speech – it was time to party! The couple hit the dancefloor for their first dance before every joined them and danced the night away. Ilana and Tom, thanks so much for having me along to your day. I loved it!
