This was a really special shoot for me…Carole and Bill were my first ever wedding and Rebecca (Bill’s daughter) and Parry were my second. In fact, before both of these weddings I was never going to be a wedding photographer. Nope, none of those boring lineups outside a church while I manhandle a tripod into position. Little did I realise until Carole told me all they were after was “shots of the day as it happens and all our friends enjoying themselves” that there was a whole, pretty brilliant, world of photography that I didn’t know existed! After spending all day in Rutland at Carole and Bill’s wedding chatting to guests, taking photos and generally having the time of my life I was hooked! And then Rebecca asked me if I wanted to go out to the South of France to shoot her wedding to Parry and I knew that this was the job for me!
Fast forward a few years and Bill is now a hugely proud Grandad to Nancy. Who is the reason we all met up at Kirkstall Abbey for these photos…
Aww – super cute. And love the back story. So glad you found your calling. 🙂
Hope you’re having a really fab time, lady! x
Beautiful set of images, I love the shot poking out of the wall, so cute, Steve & Sandra.
