As a child I was a bit of a nomad (that’s what happens when your parents work in theatre) and spent my early years living in London, Chester and, most relevant to today’s blog post, Liverpool. This city has got a little piece of my heart – just keep that quiet from my Mancunian husband!
It was doubly exciting then to be booked to photograph James and Felicity’s Liverpool city centre wedding.
I joined the girls in the Penthouse at Hope Street Hotel, it’s a pretty awesome place for a pre-wedding sleepover and getting ready – amazing views, loads of space and lots and lots of natural light. Makeup artists must love it as much as us photographers do!
After a chilled out morning we all jumped in a taxi and headed over to St George’s Hall for the ceremony before making our way to the Baltic Social for their reception.
If you’ve not been to the Baltic Social before then GO! It’s brilliant. A restaurant/bar/gig venue in the Baltic Triangle it was the perfect venue for music lovers Felicity and James – as well as their mates who spent the night DJ’ing. The dancefloor was packed and made for some energetic photos! I love a good party and these guys definitely provided that!
