I’m pretty ashamed to say that before Sophie and Mark’s wedding I had never visited Tabley House – although I think I’d driven past it about a million times (no exaggeration!)

The lovely thing about Tabley House is that whilst it is a pretty darn impressive manor house set in acres of rolling fields it’s also got a lovely, homely vibe to it which means it doesn’t feel ‘too’ grand and intimidating. Although I still made sure I didn’t touch anything!

I started the day at Sophie’s family home in Didsbury. It was a house packed full of girls (and Sophie’s lovely Dad sitting quietly in the corner reading when he wasn’t making cups of tea or opening Prosecco!) which meant there was a lot of laughter, a bit of emotion and a whole heap of excitement.

After the ceremony at Tabley House there was a small reception while everyone greeted Sophie and Mark. I love this point of a wedding, so many hugs! We then all headed off down the road to their marquee reception where we partied the night away.

Thanks so much for having me at your wedding Sophie and Mark! These are some of my favourites…
