Wedding photographer in Cheshire, Lancashire and the North West
On Saturday I was lucky enough to shoot a very special wedding – not only were my good friends Stu and Laura the bride and groom but I was shooting alongside another great friend (and fantastic wedding photographer) Neil Redfern!

What an all round brilliant day yesterday was! Rosamund and Mike’s wedding was absolutely perfect from start to finish – from the hand-made brides and bridesmaid bouquets to the traditional Nigerian drummers that greeted guests at the church and just the general ‘loveliness’ of everyone at the wedding!

I love the bride’s hair and the flowers she is wearing on it, it is definitely the perfect hair for backlighting!
Tomorrow I’m off to Shropshire to photograph Rosamund and Mike’s wedding. I can’t wait, from what they’ve told me it sounds like it’s going to be amazing!
We met up last Bank Holiday for a coffee and a wander around Castlefield. They were both very nervous before the shoot but they’re complete naturals in front of the camera, nothing to be scared of at all!

What a wedding to come back to! I’ve been living and working out in Tanzania for the last 4 months, having the time of my life, but returned last week to a packed wedding season. First wedding back, this beauty at Sandon Hall in Staffordshire…

Lovely images, especially after being away for four months.
So I may be sweltering in the heat of Tanzania at the moment (although I’m writing this in advance so I ‘think’ if all goes to plan at this point I will be exploring Zanzibar) but later on today I start the journey home and get back ready to photograph Paul and Jen’s wedding at Sandon Hall in Staffordshire.
Just before Christmas, on a frosty but thankfully rainfree day in December, I met up with Paul and Jen at Dunham Massey (where Paul proposed on Christmas Day 2011) for their pre-wedding shoot. We laughed a lot, wandered around trying to find the exact spot where Paul popped the question (we found it, see the last two images!) and saw lots and lots of deer.
Paul and Jen, see you in a few days, I can’t wait to shoot your big day!
